The party trolley's are amazing! We took one in Boston for a friends bachelorette party and stayed at the Park Plaza Hotel. We had kind of a weird request because of the bridesmaids was only 17, so we couldn't go on the trolley with any alcohol with her. They completely understood and we drove around with her and a friend for an hour, music blasting, everyone dancing and having a good time. We dropped them off and picked up the booze. Gideon was great, we went to 3 bars (not that we needed to, the trolley was fun enough). It was late May, so there were tonsss of people outside in Boston that night. We really felt like we were famous, even the people eating at tables outside at restaurants couldn't help but look at what was going by! I will never rent a limo again for an event like this. In fact, I'm already trying to plan another party trolley bachelorette party!
We took the mini trolley for the wedding. While it was A BLAST going from the church to the reception with bubbles going, disco lights, champagne, and music with the newlyweds it would have been nice if they could have taken the "Sam Adams" signs off...both expriences were great, and I can't wait to do it again!
Price wise, this experience is better than any limo could ever be. Depending on how many people you have, I think it could even end up being cheaper, and you will definitely have a way better time!

My friends ordered a trolley last weekend for their birthdays and it was sooooo much fun! For $25, we got the trolley for 2 hours, then got into the bar of our choice without a cover/waiting on line. My friends filled the bus with a bunch of jungle juice and 3 beer balls so our total price was included there. Gideon was great and it was so fun to drive around with the music blasting and the disco lights going.

THE PARTY TROLLEY IS THE BEST THING YOU WILL EVER DO.
I have been on about 4 in the past two years, and they are SO RIDICULOUSLY FUN. At first, I was a bit skeptical, but the moment the trolley pulls up to your house and you see the disco lights and loud music, you realize you're gonna have an awesome time.
The staff, Beth and Gideon, is great. Gideon sometimes is the driver and sometimes he's just the host on the trolley. Gideon, when he's the host, is incredibly outgoing, sorta also DJs and make sure no random people on the street tries to get on. Nice nice guy!!!
Beth works in the office and does the bookings. Also very attentive and responsive!
Back in 2008, the prices were much higher, but they've lowered it enough and offer discounts that if you get a large one (that fits 40) and you split it with people, its about $30 a person. Not bad, really!
The trolley will take you anywhere you want and stop by any bar. You'd be surprised how few you'll make it to because the trolley is slow and people just get crazy on it in general and don't want to get off. The bar stops are more for bathroom breaks than anything.
MAKE SURE YOU SUPPLY THE BEST DANCE MUSIC FOR YOUR TROLLEY. Nothing kills a party trolley mood more than lousy music that not everyone knows. Because people want to dance and scream song lyrics they know, so if you have some obscure non-danceable stuff, everyone will be falling asleep (I've actually seen this happen towards the end of the night).
So the price is WELL WORTH IT. Having it 4 hours is pretty good time, and have the trolley drop you off at a bar is the best idea.
There is a $300 non refundable deposit so make sure you get your people together and committed so you're not out any money.
I'd highly recommend having costumes on a trolley. It will get your friends much more riled up!!!!

I had the party trolley last weekend (Saturday, August 21st). Gideon was our operator/ hero extraordinaire. I booked it for a combined bachelor/bachelorette celebration, and could not be more pleased with how it turned out. It was a party of EPIC PROPORTIONS! My friends will hail me for all time as being the best party thrower EVER.
Gideon essentially let us do whatever we wanted to do, which is a little bit surprising considering the all-or-nothing and ridiculous nature of my group of friends, but I couldn't be happier. We only stayed at the second bar for 15 minutes before getting back on the trolley. We even opted to stay on for an extra hour rather than getting dropped off at the last bar because we were having entirely too much fun.
I came all the way up from DC for this, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. In fact, the only potential downside to this trolley is that I feel like I've set a new standard for partying in Boston... I'm not sure anything I do there again will ever be as awesome as this... which is a pretty crazy thing for me to say, considering the ridiculous shennanigans I tend to take part in while home...
Listen. Do you like to roll deep with 30 of your closest friends? Are you and your friends top-notch partiers who like to get completely insane?Are you more than okay to be gawked at by people standing on the corners taking pictures because they can hardly believe what they are seeing (and how it's possibly legal)? Do you shiver with delight at the thought of cruising down Boylston St. in your Ray-Bans singing "I'm On A Boat!" at the top of your lungs in a moving trolley while popping bottles of champagne and swinging on poles? If your answer is "abso-fucking-lutely!" then this thing is for you.
Bring your own music, bring your own booze, and most of all, bring your A-game. Because this trolley is not for amateurs. Oh, and ask for Gideon, because him and his crazy bubble machine are amazing.

We had an absolutely fabulous time and were so happy with the party trolley and with Gideon, the driver. He was able to make a bachelorette party on a Wednesday night in Boston feel like Vegas on a Saturday...so kudos to him! The trolley itself is perfectly outfitted with some good pop tunes and an amazingly loud sound system, smoke machine, and plenty of room to dance and mingle. Gideon was wonderful and never complained about trotting from bar to bar to bar all night without rhyme or reason. Again, we had a great time and would recommend the trolley to anyone looking for a fun night in Boston!

We had a spectacular time using The Original Party Trolley Co. My initial experience with the company while reserving the trolley was simple and informative; the process was easier than I thought it would be. Our driver was helpful, flexible, friendly and fun. The best part about the specific party trolley we reserved was that there was a great deal of open space for dancing and moving around, it was perfect for our large group. Everyone on my trolley had a spectacular time and definitely feels as though they got their money's worth. We are already planning to rent one again for our five year reunion!

Our experience with the trolley was great! Our driver, Tom, was extremely accommodating and did everything he could to make sure we had a great time, including making sure we got to the bar on time and being there when we were ready to get picked up. The trolley itself was spacious and provided a great atmosphere. Best of all, the trolley was only a little more expensive per person than cab rides to and from the bar. I just wanted to drop a note and tell you that we had the BEST TIME EVER on our party trolley Saturday night. Our driver Ed was the man and knew exactly where to take us and how to make the night go smoothly. Our bachelor and all guests said it was the best party ever. If I ever have the need to plan another party in Boston I will definitely us the Boston Party Trolley. Hi everything was totally awesome! It was definitely the best! My daughter will never forget her "sweet 16th" birthday! every year since her 1st, we have always had big parties of some sort. But we wanted to do something special and unique rather than the traditional "hall rental" like most kids have had for their 16th. This was the way to go! She had over 20 kids and they all had a blast! The driver was very accommodating and I think he even had a good time. He said the kids were great and got off the trolley smiling as well. In fact, during the last 1/2 hour, my daughter came back to the house to pick up myself and dad and we had a great time. It was very special for her to want us to be a part of it in some sort. I really can't say enough about your trolleys, your driver, and even yourself being so flexible to our needs! I once again thank you and will pass your services along the way, if ever, someone is looking to celebrate something in a special way. The kids are still talking about it and how fun it was!

I couldn't have asked for a better 21st birthday!! I felt like a celebrity as all of the bystanders clapped, hooted and took pictures as the trolley passed by. It had plenty of room for all 30ish of us, and all dancing at that! Gideon and Jason knew the Boston area so well and took us to all of the fun spots, and were even willing to pick some of my friends up at their apartment! I just wanted to personally thank you and your wonderful staff for such an enjoyable experience aboard your “Party Trolley”.
You were a pleasure to work with amongst my many time changes and equally accommodating to all of our requests. Both Gideon and Jason were great hosts aboard the trolley. They made sure everything was just right for the party and were more than helpful. I had thirty-two twelve year olds on board for my daughter’s birthday party and they are still raving about the party to this day. They keep asking if we will be doing it again next year. Everyone at the birthday party had a great time, as did I. It was a lot of fun and I am loo king forward to the next time.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for the bachelorette! The bride was having such a good time that she actually decided to forgo the rest of the bars we had planned on going to! The driver was great, and very accommodating of our changes in schedule. He arrived early and waited patiently while we finished our dinner. We were able to hook up our ipod and play whatever we wanted for music, and the lights and fog machine made it a really good time. Everyone had a really great time, and loved that they could bring their own alcohol onto the trolley, which saved everyone a ton of money. I just wanted to thank you though for everything on 5/9. The party trolley made my birthday so much more fun than I had ever expected. We had an absolutely great time, Gideon and Jason made the whole night completely stress free. They knew where to go and brought us to new places we didn’t know existed. There are definitely a few special occasions coming up that we will think about booking the trolley for. Thanks again for all your help!

My friends and I rented a trolley from The Original Party Trolley of Boston for my 22nd birthday, and we could not be happier with our decision. The trolley really is a party by itself. We thought we'd want to stop by a lot of bars, which was not the case at all. No one wanted to get off the trolley during the four hours we were on it. The lights and laser light shows are amazing, and the speakers are great for dance parties on the trolley.
When I realized I had left my iPod on the trolley, Gideon went out of his way to return it to me. I really couldn't ask for more. I will definitely be recommending it to my friends.

We had an amazing time on the party trolley! We were upgraded to the
large party trolley for free and the driver took us wherever we wanted
to go. The songs were great (we did not bring a cd or iPod) and the
driver did a great job of using the lights, smoke and bubble machines.
We didn't even want to get off the trolley to go to bars- we just drove
around the city for three hours dancing and singing. Everyone had a
great time and I highly recommend this for bachelorette parties!

I rented the original party trolley as part of my 30th birthday celebration. From beginning to end, the trolley was a success. The price was just right and they were very good about getting everything ready to go with a contract etc. in a timely manner. They showed up exactly when I needed them too and I was pleased to see that there was not only a driver but also an operations manager on the trolley to make sure we had everything we needed. The driver and operations manager were both very friendly, the music was great and all of my guests had a blast. They even took us on a scenic route when we asked them too last minute. By the time we all got dropped off at the party it seemed as though the party had already gotten started in the trolley and the mood was set for the rest of the night. I had also told my sales manager that it was an 80s theme party and it seemed that the music they played was all 80s and it was a great touch.
Thanks for everything, I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to have a blast of a night!

The Party Trolley was a perfect Sweet Sixteen Surprise Party for my daughter! She and 39 friends had a blast - dancing away in the disco lights and fog! The driver was totally prompt with pick-up and drop-off and I felt that the kids were in good hands! I would definitely recommend this as a fun and novel party idea!

I just wanted to write you an e-mail thanking you both very
much. We had an absolutely incredible time this Saturday and both of my
friends certainly had a 21st birthday to remember. There were probably
150-175 students from Bentley at the bar in Boston and all of them were
"wow'd" by the ride we pulled up in. Both Gideon and his assistant Dan
were phenomenal in dealing with all 60 kids on the bus, the Bentley
campus police, Boston traveling, and the 481789721 kids that wanted a
ride from Boston back to Bentley. Thank you so much for your patience
with our frantic game schedule change and I appreciate you letting us
use the trolley a week later than we had scheduled. This was absolutely
a great investment for the weekend and I will gladly refer your trolley
service to anybody looking for a night out on the town.

The Original Party Trolley of Boston was probably the best idea for my friend Mary's bachelorette party. The trolley arrived exactly when it said it would. The bride-to-be and all guests, including myself, were greeted by the drivers (we had 2). Both drivers were filled with enthusiasm and energy to keep the night pumping. For many of the guests it was their first time being on a party trolley. I am not lying when I say that every person came up to me afterwards and said they had the time of their lives. The guests at my daughter, Laura's, wedding raved about the Original Party Trolley. They had a blast. They thought Gideon was fantastic.
I am still getting phone calls from guests telling me how much fun they had on the trolley. They loved the fact that it was convenient form them to have transportation from the Marriot in Quincy to the Church in Boston and back to Granite Links in Quincy for the reception. Besides the convenience they partied and had a blast. I heard there was Disco music and even bubbles coming out of the sides of the trolley. That hasn't been confirmed but I believe it could be true. When I went into the trolley at the church to thank Gideon everyone let out a cheer. They were so happy and they were having so much fun.

Myself and the rest of the bridal party rode in limos because we were having pictures taken, etc. I did ask my guests about the trolley experience and they were very pleased. They were thankful for the ride and everyone told me how much fun they had. They felt very safe because the drivers were very good and extremely confident. On one of the trolleys, there was music, lights and everyone thought that was great. There was another person who got on the trolley with the driver and my guests referred to him as the "boss" or the "Master of Ceremonies." They loved him because he joked around.... They also said they would want to use the trolley service if they ever have the opportunity. They loved the idea that everyone was together which made the event much more fun. I hope that someone got a picture of the trolleys. We were so busy with last minute details, I hoped someone remembered to snap a picture.

The Party Trolley definitely met my expectations 100%. Gideon, our
driver, was more than willing to work with us in planning out a route
that fit our needs in driving around both Boston annd Cambridge. He

I don't remember some of the night, but the next morning everyone said
I couldn't stop saying "this is so much fun." I appreciate how
flexible and accommodating the staff were when I was making my plans.
The trolley was a perfect solution for my diverse group of friends who

All I can say is "Oh what a Night!!" I have been living in Boston all of my life and can honestly say that cruising the streets of Boston in your party trolley ranks right up there for one of my best nights out. Between my friends singing drunken karaoke and the dance party in the back not one of my friends would say that they had a bad time. The one moment that will always stick out for me was picking up my friend at Dillion's... the people faces at the bar when we pulled up with 40+ partying people on your trolley was priceless.
